Dr. Cushing has been providing quality mental health services for over 30 years. During that time he has evaluated and treated thousand of children, adolescents and adults for emotional, behavioral and learning problems. Dr. Cushing counsels families, couples and individuals for marital distress, family conflict, children's acting out and stress at home, in relationships or on the job. Assistance with anger management, relaxation training, behavior modification and divorce recovery is available.
Dr. Cushing does psycho-educational testing on children and teenagers to assess possible learning disabilities, rule out ADHD, and determine the presence or extent of mood, nervous or disruptive behavioral difficulties. He also performs psychological evaluations on adults to help determine the nature of their problems and assess depression, anxiety, adult ADHD, and other emotional problems.
Specialties include Custody Evaluations, Sex Offender evaluation and treatment, risk assessments, sport psychology and Forensic Psychology (mental health and the law) including evaluating and treating sex offenders.

7 years experience as School Psychologist. 25 years experience in full time private practice of Clinical Psychology. National reputation as speaker on Anger Management and behavior problems. Post Doctoral Fellowship in evaluating and treating sex offendors. Considerable experience in Sport Psychology, having consulted with scores of amateur and professional athletes as well as recreational athletes.
