Degrees

PhD in Anthropology from SUNY at Binghamton, 1979

My Expert Service

Although I well versed in general aspects of Anthropology, my primary field of study is the human / computer interface including Web Credibility Standards and User Interface Principles.
My secondary area of study is the rise of extreme fandom, particularly the phenomenon of "cons" (special interest conventions of fans).
My tertiary area of study is based on translating the Bible based on principles of Anthropological Linguistics.

Experience & Qualifications

I received my doctorate in Anthropology from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1979. My primary interest was in perception and cognition, particularly concerning the human / computer interface. My practical experience is based on a quarter century designing panels, screens, and web sites for businesses and e-commerce web sites. Please visit http://www.cutting-edge-assoc.com/ for an example of my work.
During this period I also became interested in perception, cognition, and credibility with respect to the phenomenon of extreme fandom in various manifestations, and in perception, cognition, and credibility with respects to certain beliefs derived from traditional translations of the Bible.
