I have taught at institutions of higher learning in USA for 20 years and now currently teaching in Bahrain in the areas of finance and banking in general and Islamic banking and finance in particular. I have extensive experience in public speaking and also providing training (seminars/workshops) in my areas of expertise. I have several refereed publications in the Islamic economics, banking and finance. Linking financial institutions to the real sector to contribute toward development and poverty alleviation is an important focus of my work.
