Being an Emergency Room Doctor/Trauma Surgeon I’ve pretty much seen and dealt with just about every illness and injury to the human body. From the common cold to a massive head injury my education and training has made me a valuable source of medical knowledge. With the expansion of the internet, as a caring physician one of my biggest fears is patients self diagnosing via medical information web sites. I’ve seen too many people come to the ER with a self diagnosis and they wonder why they’re not getting better when in fact the problem wasn’t even close to what the “internet” said but something much more serious that could have led to severe consequences if they hadn’t made the trip to the ER. That’s why I’m happy to help guide you and answer any questions you may have. Getting advice from a trained physician is safer and a much better bet than typing in a few signs and symptoms’ and thinking that’s what you have! When you’re not feeling well, have an injury or don’t understand what’s been told to you by another health care provider, you’re scared and your mind can really make matters worse.
