I did my graduation from King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. King Edward Medical College is one of the oldest and renowned medical colleges of the South East Asia. After doing my graduation, I had been teaching basic sciences to students in a medical college (Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology and Pathology) for 3 years. Later on I joined clinical side and worked in General surgery wards for 4 years as registrar. Next 5 years, I worked as post graduate trainee in the ophthalmology unit of Pakistan Institute of medical sciences, Islamabad. I completed my specialization in ophthalmology in 2007. During these 5 years I had been teaching my juniors in the field of ophthalmology. Currently I am working as registrar ophthalmology in the same department and take lectures/clinical rounds of medical students. I can answer your question related to understanding of basic medical sciences, general surgery and ophthalmology. I can provide you lecture notes. I can suggest you books which are easy to understand and comprehensive. I can answer your questions regarding examination and diagnosis of common surgical and ophthalmic patients. You can discuss optometric problems with me like how to prescribe spectacles and contact lenses.
