My Expert Service
|
|
Addiction is a process, recovery is a process. Assisting others to make lasting and sustained changes in their lives is my goal in a therapeutic relationship. Sometimes a 15 minutes interaction can be the impetus to change. Other times on-going check-ins are beneficial to provide support and encouragement. Helping someone to find the motivation to stop using, developing a plan to put the motivation into action, and helping to identify the needed resources to maintain the recovery are some of the things that therapy can provide assistance. I believe that if a person wants to change their life - change can occur!
