As a certified k-8 educator and specifically, an eighth grade language arts teacher, I posses excellent knowledge of content, curriculum, methods, materials and equipment of language arts instruction. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to plan and implement curriculum in various disciplines. I am an expert at maintaining effective working relationsips with children, peers and parents, particularly in urban settings.

I have taught elementary and middle school language arts, social studies and technology for the past thirteen years. My responsibilities include planning and implementing programs and providing educational services for students. Additionaly, I am responsible for teaching students to manage their behavior, assessing and evaluating student achievement, and modifying instructional activities as required to ensure maximum educational and social success in students.
