My strengths include helping teachers and parents provide learning environments and opportunities for young people to reach their potential. My hope is that young people realize that their choices affect others. They need to understand the consequences of their actions and take responsibility for them. Young people must think before they act.

Principal:
•Spearheaded a campaign that raised $90,000 for St. Thaddeus School
•Wrote and awarded a $10,000 Grant from the Ameritech Super School Program
•Wrote and awarded a $5,000 Grant from the Raskob Foundation
•Established programs in the following curriculum areas: art, music, family life, literature and physical education
•Presented workshops in the areas of motivation and discipline
•Taught Teacher certification classes for the Religious Education Office
•Planned teacher professional days for Regions III and IV
•Prepared four schools for evaluations by the State of Illinois and Diocese of Joliet
•Served on Steering committee to keep St. John the Baptist School open
•Supervised St. Thaddeus School remodeling
•Facilitated the writing of a school vision statement
•Designed skill continuums in all major subject areas
•Developed school crisis plan
•Prepared federal e-rate application
•Prepared proposals and opened three kindergarten programs and one preschool program in the Joliet Diocese
•Served on state and diocesan school evaluation teams
