I have personally been the victim of a theft of my own parents' estate by another family member. It was a sophisticated "bank Job" carried out through the execution of various fraudulent legal documents, forged checks, forged deeds, etc. I took me a while to trace how this theft was effected, but once I did, I went to court and won an easy default judgement because I had gathered the right evidence, did the right research and, filed the right documents. Now if I, as a former Justice Department Attorney, can get duped by someone in my own family or a stranger, then so could you. There's no need to be embarrassed. This "silent crime" is happening all across the country at an alarming rate. Its the new crime for the 21st century.

Bar License in New York State. Practiced with the U.S. Department of Justice as well as the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. I also have advanced training in Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia that make the elderly easy targets for today's predators.
