I have over 25 years experience helping men, women and children overcome problems of all types. I guide people toward finding answers in themselves quickly and without spending thousands of dollars on therapy. I deal with individuals, children and adults, families and couples of all ages. I work with problems relating to depression and anxiety, relationships, bipolar disease, personality issues, ADHD and behavior issues, learning disabilities and the mentally challenged, anger management, alcohol and drug addiction, communication breakdown, transgender issues, gay and lesbian issues, delusional and psychotic disorders, bulimia and anorexia, weight control, and crisis intervention. I also provide counseling pertaining to disability and rehabilitation, industry psychology concerns, and Christian life paths, and I offer sports consultation and life coaching/career mentoring for professionals of all levels. Experience & Qualifications

I have a great deal of experience helping students ranging from the middle school to graduate school levels cope with the stress and anxiety of academic life. I was the executive director of a statewide mental health program for the chronically mentally ill and I have also directed a school counseling program. I continue to serve as an expert witness in criminal, disability and family custody court cases. My postgraduate work is in Christian counseling. I have been in private practice at a large family-focused clinic working with a wide range of problems for over 25 years. I am licensed as a Professional Counselor and a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Virginia.
