I hold a Bachelor degree in Architecture from the University of Singapore and a Quality Management System Assessment Certificate from the University of Portsmouth, UK. I am a member of the Malaysian Institute of Architects, a National Council member of FIABCI (the International Real Estate Federation) Malaysian Chapter ,a member of the Construction SIG (Special Interest Group) of the Project Management Institute, Malaysian Chapter and a member of the Technopreneur Association of Malaysia (TeAM).
I am also a CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board) Malaysia appointed trainer for project management skills, a member of Construction Industry Expert Group for the development of the National Competency Standard (NCS) for Malaysian Construction Project Manager and a part-time tutor/ industry supervisor for Heriot-Watt University (UK)’s MSc in Construction Management (Project Management) program, Business & Advanced Technology Centre (BATC)- a collaboration between University Technology Malaysia (UTM) & University of Warwick(UK)’s MSc in Engineering Business Management program, various Executive MBA programs and Tunku Abdul Rahman College’s Advanced Diploma in Technology ( Building).

I have more than 25 years experience in the building industry as an Architect, Project Manager, Quality/Management Systems Manager, General Manager, Corporate Trainer, Consultant and Public Seminar Speaker.I had worked for major corporations in Malaysia and Singapore such PETRONAS [the National Oil Corporation of Malaysia], the Housing and Development Board of Singapore and Sunrise Bhd, a public listed property development company in Malaysia which is renowned for its innovative and quality buildings. I have also undertaken numerous multi-million-dollar property development projects in Singapore, Malaysia and Africa.
Key Achievements:
Whilst I was in SUNRISE BHD, I was a key member of the ISO 9000 Quality Task Force responsible for overseeing the implementation of the company’s ISO Quality System. I was the Project Manager, Quality Coordinator and Management System Manager responsible for the development, maintenance and upkeep of the company’s ISO 9002 Certification in 1996. Sunrise was the First Malaysian developer to obtain ISO 9002 certification for condominium development. Two of the Projects undertaken by him previously as Project Manager, ie Mont' Kiara Palma and Mont' Kiara Sophia were awarded the FIABCI Malaysia Award of Distinction for Residential Development in 1997 and 2001
