Eric Ng, MBA, a business broker and financial analyst with a very strong entrepreneurial inclination, has over 15 years of experience in owning, managing, advising and operating small and mid-sized business operations. His background covers work in consumer electronics, software development, pet products and services, cable television, retail, light manufacturing and assembly, and franchising.
His affinity for small businesses and their owners has honed his skills in financial analysis and business planning for this kind of organization. It complements his hands-on approach to solving the problems inherent in business ownership, transition and finance. He is well-versed in the issues and applications of digital communications and computation, having spent over 7 years in the high technology world and is regarded as a “hi-tech guru” for small business applications.
Eric has a particular international insight on the impact of the global economy on “Main Street” and mid-sized businesses, as well as an understanding of the cultural contexts and economics of such enterprises in both Asia and North America. Fluent in both Chinese and English, he was educated in Hong Kong, the US and Canada.
Eric received a degree with Honors in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley and his MBA from the internationally ranked Ivey School at the University of Western Ontario. He lives with his wife in Hayward, CA. They enjoy their extensive international travel as well as life at home with their household pets.
