I currently work with a diverse group of clients in private practice from 3 to adolescents to college students to adults and geriatric.
I have expertise and success working with individuals and families who are experiencing change, loss, pain, disability, aging and care-giver issues. I have been very successful working with anyone who has depression and/or anxiety and anyone whose physical disability impacts their social and emotional life.
In addition to my private practice, I am currently the Executive Director of Health, Disability Aging Resource Advocates which is a social service organization in Illinois. Prior to her current position, I worked with dialysis and transplant patients at two major medical centers in Illinois.
I also specialize in the needs of clients undergoing complex medical and surgical procedures. I also enjoy working with veterans and their families.
I also have medical and public policy training has enabled her to specialize in disability case management to help the disabled and the aging-disabled client navigate the public and private benefits systems (Social Security Disability (SSDI, SSI) Medicaid, Medicare Part D, Worker's Compensation, Veteran Care, Pharmaceutical Programs, to name a few) to improve their quality of life and ability to obtain continuity of care for their health conditions. I am an excellent advocate for the disabled.
