Event Planner with over 35 yrs experience. Experience planning and executing complex televised events.. Experience managing both logistics and creative aspects of events. Producer Director and Producer of annual televised Scholarship Pageant. Orchestrated full responsibility for television broadcast with more than 50 contestants .Assists with photography for fashion and press photo shoots. Coordinated, created and implemented an innovative approach to fund-raising. Recruited and managed all volunteers for the project and throughout the year. Procured corporate sponsors (So. Cal Edison, Century 21, Coldwell Banker, AT& T Cable) for Scholarship Donations, total responsibility for Budget, Theme, Choreography, Music, Publicity, Press Releases and News Conferences. Carried out complete planning and implementation of the annual gala Coronation Ball, including Ticket Sales and Menu planning, Decorations and acquiring of Entertainment. After the show, organizes community events throughout the year such as Fiesta Days, and Parades for a community of more than 10,000 residents and their guests Schedules personal appearances for the Winners through out the state and is responsible for all Public Relation appearances for the new team of Pageant Winners. Personally, does considerable public speaking to various organizations as requested. Works with top-ranking City and Community officials. Received Proclamations for 6 consecutive years for outstanding work. Still currently produces independent Pageant and fashion shows through out the state of California and Texas. Currently owns a floral and event design studio in Texas. Impeccable references!
