As I am a native English speaker/writer, I have a great command of the English language and am very knowledgable in British and US English. I produce quality work and I take my work seriously. I will give you the best quality work you could possible ask for.
I have a unique "feel" for just the right place for certain text to be placed within the body of work and how to create a "flow" so that the words convey exactly what the writer wants them to convey. I am fast, efficient, accurate and 100% reliable.
I came to copy editing and proofreading after a long career in Administration and found I really loved working with words - both in correction and in editing.
I co-owned a monthly inspirational magazine in which I was proofreader, copy editor as well as advertising manager - it was a small, family run magazine.
I have also copy edited and proofread a book for an author with low literacy, who wanted the story of her life/childhood to be told to help others step up in life and face their abuse issues.
I have also recently copy edited and proofread a Personal Development course for an internet-based business.
Previous to that I helped charities and social businesses put together comprehensive funding applications for grants after having reasearched the field and found a match for the organisation seeking money. This also used my re-writing, copy editing, proofreading and typing skills.
Personal and spiritual development are my passions. Without them we are not complete in this human experience.
With many years of experience in communication media, proofreading and copy ediing, after 20 years in Administration, Mental Health Field Work, and voluntary work, I'm:

Book - Women of the Cloak
I copy edited and proofread this book in 2006 before it went to publication - from a word document and the written form. The writer, whilst passionate about her subject, based on her own life experience, was not very literate so it took a great deal of editing and proofreading to get it to publication stage. The experience was incredible as it showed me how much I loved taking a raw, passionate but messy work by a passionate author, and then turn it into a readable and audience-capturing book.
Personal Development Academy
In early 2009 I co-wrote the courses shown on this website and had a large input into the design and layout of the website. It was something I really enjoyed and utilised my skills in copy editing, proofreading, attention to detail, typing, design and word processing.

This website was created in 2008. I did have some input into it but it is mainly, for me, where my copy editing/proofreading CV is highlighted. It also highlights my PA/Administrative skills!
Wisdom Midwife Writing Blog
I have written many articles over the years and this blog site is the place where I have been highlighting them since the middle of 2009. These articles were written I owned/operated/produced a national, monthly, inspirational magazine. I found I really enjoyed the writing process as well as utilising my typing, proofreading, copy editing and admin skills.
