My experience in so many aspects of the wine industry can provide you information and background on most wines from throughout the world. From the simple task of what to select for your dinner party tonight to a complete wine selection for a major meeting or corporate event. I can help you understand how the wine industry works in the U.S. and internationally as well as teach you how to taste and get the most from your wine experience. Wine is a very huge and ever changing field, and I still learn something new almost everyday - but I am confident in challenging "most" people to find a subject in wine that I can't help them with.

Experience & Qualifications

My background and experience spans approximately 25 years in the wine industry, and during that time I have developed an expertise in virtually every corner of the wine industry. The breadth of my background is difficult to capture in short description. I have owned wine import, export and distribution companies. I started and built a wine export company based in France. I started a food and wine company in Malaysia. I have built wine distribution networks in over 40 countries throughout Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and Latin America. I established and built a winery in California that grew to over 100,000 cases in less than five years. I have been responsible for the sales and distribution of over 10 million cases of wine during my career. I have participated in literally hundreds of profession and consumer wine events and tastings throughout the world. I have most recently developed a very specialized vineyard with plans to launch, in 2010, a highly allocated and special wine from my vineyard. I can impart knowledge and share experiences about wine from California, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Chile, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
