As a classically trained chef with multiple food allergies, including gluten, wheat, dairy, and soy, I am uniquely qualified to answer all of your gluten- and allergen-free cooking and lifestyle questions. I conduct cooking classes in New York and the Tri-State area, and offer recipe development, menu planning, personal chef and catering services, restaurant consulting, and resources for navigating the gluten-free lifestyle.

Experience & Qualifications

For over 12 years I have been cooking and baking gluten- and dairy-free. In order to better serve those of us with food allergies and sensitivities, I graduated from the French Culinary Institute in 2007 after a successful career as a sommelier and classical archaeologist, specializing in ancient food and wine production. My professional career in the culinary and wine industries has taken me to many parts of the world, and provided me with the opportunity to work with leading chefs and restaurateurs in New York, Nantucket Island, Vermont, Florida, New Mexico, and the UK.
