Vocal Music instruction for vocal soloists and ensembles in a wide variety of singing styles. Whether you are preparing for a college audition, American Idol/local talent show or to sing for church services, I want to assist you. Experienced in helping singers overcome personal singing problems, for example reducing breathiness, eliminating tightness in the throat, increasing the range, etc. Also offer help in designing a show and performance techniques. General music questions invited.

Experience & Qualifications

I have taught in the public schools since 1974. I plan to continue teaching there at this time. I teach in a private voice studio, working with students of many ages. I also sing with experience in the IU Opera Chorus. I direct choirs in schools and churches and have directed musicals and talent shows. I am a member of the American Choral Director's Association and the Music Educators National Conference.
