Best Agency: (since 2008)
- Responsible for overseeing all technical aspects in the 1.8 million sq. ft. mall on the Las Vegas strip, including all BGM audio, video directories, static advertisements (Duratrans), Sky Murals, Barco LED Screens, (1600+ tiles outdoor, 450+tiles indoor), performance lighting system including GrandMA console, Coemar LED units, and Mac 2k automated fixtures, Stage Command® and Allen-Bradley Automation Systems, and more. Experience gained with Media Matrix, Dalet, and Crestron® systems. Responsible for upkeep, maintenance, and repair of all equipment (particularly lighting) as well as 6-8 staff members, who are assigned specific duties within the venue. Other duties included scheduling crew, keeping maintenance logs, working with vendors and manufacturers for repairs and purchases, developing systems, and assigning projects.
Canyon Ridge (2003-2008)
- At a church of over 5500 people per weekend, responsible for managing a technical team of approx. 40 people, including both paid staff members, and volunteers. Responsible for training new team members on Digital and Analog Audio Consoles, Lighting Systems, Programming, Set/Stage Design, stage setup, etc. Responsible for purchase, installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment used on campus. With 8 venues on campus, systems range from 3000-seat room with Full HD IMAG System, Digital Audio Console, Meyer Line Arrays, and full rigging automation, to a 15-seat Boardroom with Surround Sound, touch-sensitive Dry Erase board, and several various-sized rooms in between. Work Closely with Programming Team, Music Director/Team, Drama Director, Production Manager, and IMAG Director, to produce 6 services weekly
Freelance Designer/Consultant (since 2000)
- Consulted with clients to help determine system needs (either audio, video projection, or lighting systems), the need for future expandability, ease-of-use, etc. Designed system(s) based on those parameters, as well as budget constraints. Presented system(s) design to clients, including budget proposal, equipment lists, single-line diagrams, etc. If approved, installed and commissioned systems, using professional equipment components and practices. Consulted clients in various cities by phone and email, about how to take their staff and/or volunteer teams to the ‘next level’, and how to bring the user up to the standard of the high-end equipment, so that the equipment could be used to its full potential, to help maximize financial investment.
Live Production Director, FOH Engineer, LD (since 2000)
- Directed live concerts, including all technical and logistical aspects of the production, including audio, video, lighting, recording systems, ticketing, security, ushers, rehearsal schedules, rentals, etc. Operated live audio systems for various events, and have experience with JBL and Meyer line arrays, DiGiCo digital audio consoles, and various analog consoles. As an LD, I have designed, programmed, and operated lighting system for churches, concerts, outdoor events, Grand Openings, Fashion Shows, Themed Events, Reality TV tapings, and other similar functions. Vast experience in conventional lighting fixtures and consoles, and experience with Vari-lite, High End Systems, Martin, Clay Paky, Color Kinetics and Coemar fixtures, as well as other automated and “intelligent” fixtures. My lighting console of choice is the Jands Vista line, but I also have experience with the Grand MA.
Production Resource, Inc. (2002-2003)
- Solely responsible for maintaining technical systems in 55,000 sq. ft. Convention Center Facility, located in a State Park. Responsible for billing clients for services and equipment used, maintaining and coordinating AV needs with convention schedule.
