Theater has always been a part of my life from high school, to work with psycho-drama as a way to help distressed persons. Interest: the use of the self on stage.

A.B. 1960, American Literature and Pre-Med science, Emory University; Master of Divinity, 1963, focused on the wholeness of the person in the presence of God (Va. Theological Seminaryj): Master of Ed. (1984) and Education Specialist (1985) West GA University: both degrees in educating, counseling, and advising emotionally disturbed students and their families.

My Expert Service

Drama work in h.s., activities at Emoryn American Literature major, training in the use of psycho-drama to help distressed persons. Three months of supervised counseling and consulting with individuals of different ages in various distressing life situations. (1961, Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta). Experience in counseling and consulting since 1964, as a minister in churches, as a college chaplain, and as a teacher of emotionally distressed students. Experience since 1982 teaching, advising, and counseling emotionally disturbed teens and their families in public school settings. Currently, I am talking with retired men and women who have a totally different set of challenges than they have before. Dramatic activities may be in the future.

Founding president of a community in a small town. Five years of administration, acting, and producing plays
20 years of school-centered work with disturbed students and their families. Psycho-drama at most stages and in various classes.
Also, part-time special education instructor at UGA as grad student.
