You see, I understand because I have been there. I remember when I first tried ebay, and had to get relatives to buy my art so I could afford the ebay fees. I know what it is like to sit all weekend at an art show--having everyone say “that’s nice” but never buy. I know what it’s like to be longing to gain exposure, and the frustration involved when that never seems to be happening. Even when I scoured the internet for free tips on selling art online, it all seemed to be ineffective.
But, everything changed for me when I learned how to get my art in front of the world. Today, I am an artist enjoying the pride of selling several pieces a week, sometimes several in one day. Today, I get to experience the feeling of people from all over the world contacting me to buy my art. Today, I have national magazines contact me to do articles about me, and I have gotten that call from an art director saying “Congratulations--your art has been picked to be used on the set of our national tv show!“ .

I understand some of the key components necessary to getting your art out in front of people who are seeking to buy art online. People from all over the world. Because of this, I rarely have more than a handful of pieces in my possession at one time. They sell sometimes within days. What a great problem to have!

The main thing I do is approach a wider worldwide market through internet auctions and online galleries. I also am eager to explain to people what I do. I am approached frequently by other artists asking what they can do to increase their online visibility and make more sales. Now, I’ve decided to consult with artists on a larger scale through this site.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in 1991, specializing in small business and entrepreneurship. I also spent time in London working on a fashion design and art degree in 1990. I also spent about 15 years working with restaurant startups and management. I currently run Atlanta Copperworks Studio, and through it sell my art all over the world. I am constantly asked by artists and people with that “big idea” how to market their new business, what steps to take, and what areas they may be overlooking. Brainstorming usually comes very easily for me, and I can leave you with many ideas to add to your own. Having an external fresh opinion on your new company can be one of the most beneficial things you can do for yourself.
