My Expert Service
|

As an artist, I've made a point of mastering the basic techniques that underlie the production of sculptural items of all sorts. I know a lot about lost-wax casting in bronze, silver, and gold, and have built my own equipment and tools for doing it. I've also worked with ceramics, wood, steel, stone, plaster, wax, plastics, bone, sheet metal, glass, gold leaf, concrete, rubber, and other materials. I've developed new methods of making rubber molds, and new material systems to cast into them. In the last decade, I've become proficient in 3d digital art, and now use a range of 3d scanners, software, computer-controlled milling machines and routers as well as additive rapid prototyping to create digital sculpture.
