As a former big-box retail manager, along with operating the administrative arm of a large construction concern, I have made hiring decisions starting from scratch on hundreds of applicants, which means starting with gathering resumes and then deciding which resumes reached out and grabbed my attention. I know what employers look for, how much time they have to devote to a resume, and what it takes to turn your resume into a great commercial about you. I am degreed with a long career as middle to upper management and my success depended upon the ability to recognize a great achiever from a few cold pieces of paper.
Many of my former co-workers have asked me for advice on crafting their personal resumes, or even assisting them at wording and drafting their business plans after we had parted company.
I am well versed in Microsoft Office Suite.
