However, just because I know how to write does that mean I could help you? Sure, some people could write well for themselves… but can they help someone else do the same? Good question.
My answer? Some people can write. Other people can help others write. I can do both. Why? Because I figure out what style, plot, or feel you want… and then I go for it. Or elaborate constructions that Tolstoy would marvel at? Whatever it is, I can and will make it work for you. You are paying your hard earned money for this. So it has to be you. And you it will be.
What don't I do when I work?
I don't beat around the bush, waste my and your time on hollow phrases, empty adjectives or disorganized paragraphs. I write clean sentences using concrete terms in neatly organized paragraphs that speak to the point. If the reader is not mesmerized in the end, it’s all worth zippo. But that won’t happen if you work with me.
In summary I’d just like to say that I can help you produce work that not only flows like water but interests, stimulates, and mesmerizes the reader. Work with personality. It’s safe to say that there is no such thing as a national average price for tutor's work. Some differences in prices can be attributed to the local market situation or demand for tutors able to teach a specific topic. However, some of the price differences are results of different strategies tutors use to find and keep customers. If you intend to find your place among tutors, you have to create a pricing strategy that fits you.
Basically, there are three different approaches tutors may take to find students. First, they can ask for premium prices and look for the most affluent customers. This gives a tutor most per-hour income, but brings in a few problems, too. For one thing, not everyone is wealthy and you lose all of those people on the way (assuming you charge the same rate for everyone). Another problem is that such courses are very demanding for a tutor – customers pay a lot, but require a high level of professionalism and a lot of dedication to the student and their needs. Thus this is appropriate only if you are extremely experienced, capable, organized and have the necessary marketing muscle to convince this group that you are their best bet. Also, you need to live in a city that is big enough to have a large group of rich people. In smaller towns there may not enough affluent individuals around to justify catering exclusively to that segment.
