After graduating from NC A&T State University with a degree in Accounting, I was commissioned into the U.S. Air Force as an Accounting and Finance Officer. After serving my obligation in the military, I entered the private sector as an Assistant Unit Manager with the Internal Revenue Service in Atlanta, GA. After working in Atlanta for several years, I transferred to Washington, DC to become an IRS Agent. After six and one-half years with the IRS, I accepted a position with the American Association of Retired Persons(AARP) as a Tax Analyst. After leaving AARP, I worked as an accountant with Laboratory Corporation of America(Labcorp). After leaving Labcorp, I worked as an Office Manager/Tax Professional with H&R Block. For the past five years, I have operated my own business - Pinnacle Accounting Services.
