I am a tax practitioner with 20+ years experience. I have run my own tax consulting service (which prepares personal and small business tax returns) since 1992. I also advise and prepare Offers in Compromise for clients who do NOT want to hire an Enrolled Agent, but are unable to prepare the needed paperwork. I have numerous references.

Experience & Qualifications

I served as a tax officer while in the Army for the eight years I was on active duty. I also helped troops in my USAR unit from 1986 until 1990. When I was activated and deployed to the Persian Gulf War, I prepared returns manually for both enlisted soldiers and officers. Once such officer commented that I knew the tax laws better than his accountant, and suggested that I open my own business. After completing the National Tax School Correspondence Course, I opened my own part-time business, which has thrived. While very busy during the tax season, I am always looking for new business. I have several clients whom I have NEVER met, but rather contacted, advise and served through the INTERNET.

Good. Clarify one question about 529. I don't have any. If I put money to it now, let say 10,000 this year, and withdraw it the same year (or next) the is it taxable?
