Ginni Garner has spent the last fifteen years helping people and companies learn, connect and grow.
Her roles have included career coach, recruiting and executive search consultant, author, marketer and trainer.
With a BA in Experiential Education from Goddard College and MBA from the University of Phoenix in Cleveland, Ohio, Ginni has worked for a publicly traded search firm as well as several boutique recruiting firms providing executive and management recruiting, coaching and training.
Ginni started in the staffing business in 1994 placing in skilled tradesmen in manufacturing companies in Northeast Ohio. From there she worked for several recruitment firms working her way into a role at the retained executive search firm, Heidrick & Struggles, Inc.
She has worked with Managers, Directors, Vice Presidents and C-level executives in technology, service health care, manufacturing, call center, outsourcing, and direct marketing companies. Her expertise crosses all functions and she has placed highly qualified executives and management personnel in sales, marketing, operations, IT, HR and finance roles.
In 2001, Ginni joined SRA International, an executive search franchisor, training and supporting new search firm owners. In, 2004, Ginni opened her own Sanford Rose Associates office providing executive search, recruitment and career transition services.
Recently, Ginni co-authored a book called The CEO’s Guide to Talent Acquisition - Finding Talent Your Competition Overlooks.
Over the years, she has reviewed thousands of resumes and provided broad consulting expertise to candidates looking to change jobs or manage their careers. She also teaches essential skills to clients including: career management, resume/CV creation, job search and interview skills, personal online branding and marketing and salary negotiation.
Currently, Ginni’s passions have her exploring new and innovative ways to connect people with a new job, a new career or a new perspective on life.
