I am a professional Transport Manager and Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser with 20 years experience in the transport/haulage industry with qualifications in accountancy, transport operations (CPC holder), dangerous goods safety adviser, occupational road risk management and forensic road collision investigation. I am a member of the Institute of Transport Administration and of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, an associate of the Institute of Car Fleet Managers. I have extensive experience in managing the transport function of large and small businesses in every aspect including the development of procedures to audit and assess the performance of that function and manage risks. I have also written articles for the trade press and am an experienced lecturer/trainer on transport issues.
