Experience & Qualifications

I have worked as a internet business consultant for over 15 years. In earlier jobs, I worked with well known consulting firms and advised major international companies on web strategies and business models.
Currently, I work as an independent consultant and focus on assisting small and medium-sized business as well as startups. I find this more interesting and personal.
Some of the bigger projects I have worked on recently, include:
- - Developing the business plan for news & analysis blog about online video (blog has since launched and been very successful),
- - Developing the business plan and recruiting the startup team for a colocation data center company in the Middle East,
- - Leading an ideation and brainstorming project to expand the online businesses of a major financial company.
In addition to consulting, I am also a successful online media entrepreneur. Currently, I am building a network of international calling websites. Here are a couple of examples: AboutCallingCards.com and CallingBangalore.com. These sites are built in Drupal, an open source content management system (CMS) that I've been very happy with. The sites are meticulously search-optimized to drive traffic via Google, Yahoo, and other search engines. They make money via Google AdSense and affiliate advertising on a cost per click (CPC) and cost per action (CPA) basis.
