I co-founded Kasamba with two good friends back in 1999, when everybody wanted to have a start-up company. When the Internet bubble burst in mid-2000 We lost almost everything, but managed to bring the business to where it is today - a lively community of 30,000 experts who provide their services to clients from all over the world via live chat or email. The last 9 years have been a ride I'll never forget, but when looking at the road ahead, I realize we're only at the beginning of our journey. What lies ahead of us, now that we're part of LivePerson, is both scary and exciting, and is likely to change the way people are using the Internet. I invite you to join us for the ride!

I started my career as a physician, but sometime along the road I just realized that I'm in love with computers. After leaving medicine I was often asked how I could "dump seven years of my life" after having invested so much in it. While I can understand this question, I see it in a totally different way. Studying medicine was a life-changing experience, and something that I will never regret having done. I see it as a great privilage, and as something that has shaped me into being the person I am today. I love doing what I do, and it is my firm belief that you should spend your life doing what you love to do. As Jack London once wrote - "The function of man is to live, not to exist."
