I started working from home in 1994 when my 7 year old daughter was diagnosed with diabetes just 3 days before her little sister was born. I started out in web site design and also started writing about my experience of making the transition from being a working-mother to a stay-at-home-mom adn finally a working-at-home-mom. WAHM.com grew to receive millions of hits/month, over 60,000 members and was eventually purchased in 2007.

In addition to running the WAHM.com website for thirteen years and being an active participant in both the message board community and email communication with members, I am the author of two books for work-at-home moms. The first was "The Work-At-Home Mom's Guide to Home Business: Stay at Home and Make Money With Wahm.com" (Hazen Publishing) and the second book was based on the first but included more personal stories: "It's a Jungle Out There and a Zoo in Here: Run Your Home Business without Letting It Overrun You" (Time/Warner).
