Mr. Holberton has more than two decades of experience in financial & senior management and executive coaching for senior executives. He has served as chief financial officer for a number of private and public companies including General Cinema Theatres, Cambridge NeuroScience, and Genome Therapeutics Corp., and he has held management positions at Becton Dickinson. He enjoys a thriving practice of business advisory services that focuses on senior level coaching to organizations, specifically in improving business effectiveness and leadership development. He has also served as an executive coach for senior management teams of various companies. Mr. Holberton is a Certified Public Accountant and has completed the advanced management program at Harvard Business School entitled “Managing the Information Services Resources.” Mr. Holberton has been a guest columnist for Boston Business Journal, Mass High Technology and other business publications and has written in excess of 50 articles about leadership and personal improvement.
Mr. Holberton holds an AB in liberal arts from Franklin and Marshall College and is a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership’s program for officer level executive leadership development as well Levinson Institutes’ On Leadership program. Mr. Holberton is also an adjunct professor at Brandeis University for the past seven years where he teaches Leadership in the Rabb School and has appointments at Babson College as an adjunct faculty member and Executive-in-Residence.
Mr. Holberton is a sought after speaker and panel moderator and speaks regularly on a wide range of business topics including keys to leadership effectiveness.
