Responsibilities include: oversee staff of 10 employees, handle monthly financial statement closing, manage year-end audit, maintain daily cash flow and quarterly rolling cash flow summary, monitor lines of credit and banking relationship, monitor insurance, assist with conversion to Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) and MS CRM.
Princeton Digital (formerly Princeton Graphics Systems) (07/2005 – 06/2007) VP Finance and Administration
$75mm LCD computer monitor importer and distributor to major big-box retailer and channel customers. Responsibilities include: interface with suppliers in Taiwan, assist CEO on special projects, prepare and monitor the master budget, oversee all day-to-day accounting functions, monitor insurance and annual certified audit.
Accomplishments:
• Reorganized the accounting department from the bottom-up.
• Implemented Fixed Margin Arrangement (FMA) with Taiwan supplier.
• Traveled to Taiwan to negotiate dispute with supplier.
• Converted accounting software from Macola (legacy) to Peachtree Quantum.
Specialty Metals, Inc. (02/2000 - 05/2005)
Chief Financial Officer / General Manager
$10mm importer and JIT stocking distributor of copper, aluminum and steel tubing for OEMs in the refrigeration, heating, and fluid delivery industries. Responsibilities encompassed all financial aspects of the company including financing, budgeting, purchasing on the spot and future commodities exchanges, travel to Korea, China and Italy for direct contract negotiations. Also served as the general manager in charge of all company operations.
