P r o f e s s i o n a l E x p e r i e n c e From 17th of March 2009 I am working as a Freelance Trainer and CEO, Headway From 1997 – 2009 I was associated with Imperial Chemical Industries (ICI) Pakistan Limited. During my twelve years’ tenure with ICI I worked in an array of different business functions under two completely different business units i.e., Chemicals and Life Sciences. A brief discussion about my professional experience is as under: A. From June of 2004 to March 2009, I worked as Assistant Manager Human Resources. The job entails the following main functions: a. Recruitment • Handling complete recruitment process of the Life Sciences Business employees • Arrange interviews and take salary approvals • Coordinate for pre employment medical and complete job induction formalities b. Benefits Administration • Carrying out Benefits Administration of more than 200 employees • Standardized relocation allowance policy for the business • Arrange for overseas travel entitlements of all management staff including senior management. • Process all entitlements including car loans, house building loans and transfer expenses c. Employee Training and Development • Conduct Employee Orientation presentations which includes Business orientation and Ethics Training • Conduct Employee Orientation on Rules and Entitlements • Have conducted Training for employees on Managerial Styles Questionnaires • Recently conducted Training Sessions on new system of Performance and Development Dialogs at Multan and Faisalabad. d. Employee Relations • Handle and solve employee related issues / problems • Have been given the Business’ help line and e-mail for registering all employee complaints or suggestions • In quarterly business cycle meetings assist the HR Manager and the GM in answering and responding to different employee queries e.
