Should you buy long term care insurance?
Insurance is not for everyone, and not everyone can health or financially qualify.
Over half of Americans 65 and older needing some long term care and less than 10% of the 70 million baby-boomers having any long term care plan.
Of those receiving long term care today 40% are under 65 years of age. A famous example: actor Christopher Reeve, who at age 42 had a horseback riding accident which required 9 years of long term care which is not covered by health insurance or Medicare.
I do not assume to know what is best for someone, each person's needs are different, even spouses may have different plans. I will educate you and present you with your options.
