PAST ENGAGEMENTS: I lived in Europe for 7 years as a COUNTRY MANAGER & COUNTRY DIRECTOR for all of Europe in computer solutions for business and vertical application industries. BIOGRAPHY: For over 22 years Clayton has served individuals, groups, associations and companies as an internal employee or external consultant for corporate, business, educational and organizational development in domestic and international areas. His roles have been broad and diverse from mid level management to senior executive in private corporations and non-profits. Roles include: Project Leader/Manager, General Management, Director, EVP, VP, Corporate Secretary/Treasurer, Independent Director, Ombudsman, Board Advisor, committee board member, executive coach and interim C-level roles. Prior to his career as a development consultant Clayton was in the US Air Force Security Forces, a small business owner and worked as a regional & store manager in retail. He began his career in 1988 he learned his craft as an industry researcher, financial analyst, staff/project recruiter, business development account executive and change management coach/trainer for two privately held consulting firms, one in the UK and the other in Chicago. His work on long term projects and full-time employment have taken him as far west as Japan, Canada, Mexico and Europe from the United Kingdom east to Austria, Czech Republic and residence in Germany for 7 years. He's born and raised in California with time in Arizona, Texas and his current residence in Oklahoma. He’s lead long term "virtual" integrated projects bringing entities together to team up for joint-ventures & strategic alliances domestically in North American and Internationally. He's provided measurable results, key insight and strategic contributions in many industries including hotel/restaurant/entertainment/resort, food & beverage, land/sea/air transportation/logistics, equipment/electronics manufacturing, high tech, research/consulting/educational, foundations/non-profits/ trade associations, venture capital, financial services/merchant banking, media/video/photography, wholesale/retail distribution, hardware/software solution providers and a variety of various esoteric service companies or individuals. Clayton holds an Executive MBA from the University of Phoenix with concentration in Technology Management (not an IT degree). He has a Bachelors Degree is from CSU Northridge in Behavioral & Social Sciences with a minor in Business (Dean's List). He's completed various certificate and seminar work as required to keep up with client needs in the areas of International Marketing & Communications (CSUF), Business & Financial Analysis (GSM Chicago), International Joint Ventures & Strategic Alliances (US State Department), Media, Photography & Video Production (Cypress CC), Web Publishing/SEO (Computer Career Institute - Marketing Content/Communications) and other professional or continuing education. His most recent projects include consulting to a Fortune 200 energy company on Corporate Social Responsibility with relation to Organizational Development and sustainability issues. Previously he served on the Business Development Committee of The Organic Center in Providence RI, EVP of Corporate & Business Development with Deep Sea Logistics and was Corporate Secretary/Treasurer & EXCOMM member for Alliance Marine Group in the Bahamas. Other significant contracts and contributions include Technology Assessment Project Manager for Newport Corporation in Irvine, CA and Venture Capital Program Manager/Project Manager for Equity Finance Holding Company (EFHLF ticker) of San Francisco CA.
