I have many years in steel manufacturing plus other experience in a variety of manufacturing categories. A summary of my background includes:
• 20+ years of manufacturing experience
• Managed variety of plant operations from multiple owned and operated (O&O) plants (1300 workers) to combination of 8 O&O plants and 8 outsourced manufacturing operations (16 plants – 4000 workers)
• Experience with different types of production with multiple components (automotive, movie seating, textile)
• Proven experience in plant start-ups and in generating plant productivity, from automotive (Ford, GM,& VW), textile (Playtex), plastic injection (Seating Concepts, Industrias Ideal), and also metal machinery (Barnes Group).
• Cost reduction
• Proven results in delivering large numbers of manufacturing outputs (30,000 seats per week)
