Hired and developed staff of 1400 union and non-union employees working in sophisticated technical operation to achieve $125 Million in annual sales. • Grew annual sales from $5.8 Million to $125 Million: Mexican market, $50 Million; export market $75 Million, including U.S., Japan, and South America. • Increased profits on average by 24% per year during 1996-2000. • Implemented Polaroid’s first Consumer Product, SAM, MRP/ERP, and CRM structures in Latin America.. • Obtained Mexican National Voter ID Contract: largest such program in the World. Boosted Mexican annual sales by 252% and profits by 201%. This product platform served to create a new international division with worldwide annual sales exceeding US$100 million. • Negotiated trade agreements generating duty savings in excess of $25 Million over 5-year period. • Developed and implemented Business Improvement Processes reducing annually SG&A expenses, as a percentage of sales, by 13% to 18% annually during 1996-2000. • Formed and established first Polaroid instant film plant outside the U.S. and Europe. Only plant in corporate history to open ahead of schedule. Pioneered new manufacturing, labor efficiency, and logistics programs.
