I currently manage a large affordable housing program serving a major metropolitan area. I manage over $30 million in funding. I oversee the processing of first time homebuyer loans, loan modifications for clients facing foreclosure, prepurchase and post purchase counseling for clients first time homebuyers, workshops and seminars on a range of financial literacy topics such as credit, credit scoring, budgeting, reverse mortgages, etc. I have managed these programs for 5 years. I have received extensive training through NeighborWorks in credit counseling, residential lending, and foreclosure counseling. I am NOT a licensed real estate agent or mortgage loan officer therefore I maintain no vested commissioned interest in a client's course of action. I speak frequently on these issues in public forums and to local and national print and broadcast media.
