Nearly 30 years of Human Resources experience, at the plant and corpporatete levels. encompassing the aerospace, manufacturing, metals (aluminum and steel ) and paper industries.
Negotiated labor contracts, presented arbitration cases; developed plant shutdown strategies and “effects” bargaining parameters; investigated, managed, and resolved EEOC, OSHA, and NLRB allegations, developed strategies during union organizing campaign and, with outside counsel, participated in decertification process; established Standards of Operations at non-union locations; designed and implemented cost effective health care plans; participated in employee counseling/discipline; developed and implemented training for supervisors. Developed and implemented personnel policies and procedures; upgraded recruitment practices; instituted Statutory Compliance programs, including management training; upgraded policies and procedures, including recruitment and selection; administered manpower planning, salary administration, succession planning, and job evaluations, wrote job descriptions and established wage rates; developed and presented supervisory training. As Internal Consultant, assisted in implementation of Organizational Change/TQM process, and employee problem solving teams; Interfaced with Senior Management in strategic planning sessions, including a “Greenfield” project. Supervised Plant Nurse, two (2) administrators, and security force of twelve (12).
