I am a retired V.P. of Chase Manhattan Bank. I conducted more than 100 seminars at Chase for both Chase clients and Chase employees re: investing and personal finance. I was a consultant to Dow Jones & Co. for several years, and I conducted retirement planning seminars for their employees. Dow Jones purchased the books I had written and distributed them to all the employees who attended my seminars. I wrote two books that received excellent reviews re: personal finance and retirement planning. For 18 years I taught courses in personal financial planning and investing at The New School for Social Research in new York City. I have written more than 20 financial/ investing articles that were published in national publications including The New York Times, Town & Country,
Vogue, Self, Savvy Working Women, and other national publications. I have been quoted in Money Magazine as an investment expert.
I am an expert in personal tax planning. I am a former enrolled agent of the Internal Revenue Service. I work with AARP advising the public re: tax preparation. I also make tax presentations to the general public as sponsored by the library system in Florida.
I also counsel small business owners as a representative of SCORE, an organization that specializes in advising companies in all aspects of their business.
I am also an expert in consumer credit. For ten years I have been a certified Florida court mediator/trainer. I train law students in mediation. I provide advice to consumers who have problems with their debt, which helps them to negotiate with their creditors.
