I grew up with a family who loved to develop businesses so I learned quickly. In 3rd grade I ran my mothers roller rink & bowling alley. By the time I was in Jr. high I had managed all the waitresses at my mothers million dollar diner. Then a radio station, another restaurant, a flower shop, a dress shop & on & on... I learned quickly & started my own successful business my senior year of high school. I then moved to San Diego from our small town in Alaska & ran a party franchise. It quickly became the most successful of all the party stores once I started there.
I then moved back to Alaska & ran the floral department in our local grocery store. They were astounded by the numbers I was bringing in up over 121% some months.
I then opened my own flower show & drove the other 2 local shops out of business in just 3 months of opening. Then I opened an antique shop, a gift basket business, a co-op for craft's, took over the roller rink added 2 roller derby teams, and on & on. I have designed a lodge, bar, and so much more. Its so important to have the ideas that WORK, and not just another idea.... my theory is DO IT! Don't just talk about it...
