I provide questions to answer and assign assessments for the purpose of gaining greater self-awareness about you in relation to occupations. A few assessments are helpful; yet getting to know you through our interactions will provide considerable insight. After gathering information, I help form a career picture by summarizing your interests, abilities, values, and characteristics which you will then use to form career-related goals. The goals will depend on where you are in your career development, whether it is responding to your curiosity about career options, planning your education, preparing to transition into the world of work, or making changes in your current occupation. I welcome the opportunity to join with you in your career exploration.

Experience & Qualifications

I have 30 years of professional experience in counseling children, families, couples, and groups. My areas of expertise in counseling include relationships, parenting, women's issues, career, anxiety, depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, ADD/ADHD, eating disorders, and adjustment problems. I developed and facilitated numerous groups, such as: stress and anger management; communication workshops for businesses; self-esteem groups for adolescents; and parenting classes. I also have 13 years of experience in higher education as an instructor and Assistant Professor of Counseling.
