They include self-leadership, the using of personality assessments in coaching,mindfulness approaches to self-development, positivity research and manifestation theory. My approach is to use my unique backgrounds in leadership, psychology, coaching and transpersonal studies to help others not only define their dreams, but create concrete action plans that lead to the kinds of successes they desire.

Dr. K. Candis Best is an educator, consultant, speaker and author. She is the author of Leaving Legacies: Reflections from the Prickly Path to Leadership, an entertaining and moving account of her eleven year odyssey as a public health executive that was recognized by USA Book News as one of the best books of 2008. She is Board Certified in Health Care Management and a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Executives and a member of the International Association of Coaches. Her research interests include leadership development, career management, transpersonal studies and self-leadership coaching.
