After studying Psychology and spending many years working within the Social care and Education system,I discovered that the aspects of the work that I found most enjoyable and rewarding were those where I could offer deeper therapeutic support and life coaching skills to assist people through life's challenges. I decided to take this further by becoming a Counselor and Personal Development Life Coach. Since then I have had the experience of working with and providing services to both young people and adults from diverse backgrounds. I have worked both in private practice and in large clinical setting.I am currently in private practice, providing online counseling and personal development coaching through my own website. I have earned the reputation of being able to provide an atmosphere of safety, respect and optimism for the capacity to overcome difficulties. In the process, my clients develop an increased sense of satisfaction and effective control over their lives. I have met and worked with a range of amazing people and I am overwhelmed by the remarkable way in which people cope with tremendous challenges in their lives. Through supporting people in this way, I have learned so much about a wide spectrum of issues. What is more important, I have now gained a clearer perspective of how clients can be supported to regain strength and energy so that they can feel happy at last.Using acquired Personal Life coaching skills I have supported and encouraged people to fulfill their potential and make the most out of their lives. My main aim has been to empower clients to take control of their situation in areas such as relationships,self esteem,self confidence,motivation careers, fitness and work-life balance. I believe as a Counsellor and Personal Life coach I need to encourage individuals to get to know themselves better and identify the causes which are holding them back to achieving what they want or achieving even more. From there we can then develop routes to move forward and make change happen resulting in success!
