Hope. If there is one thing that has the power to affect change in our world and in our lives, that is it; the hope that something better not only exists but that it is within our reach. In 2004 after several strokes of 'bad luck' ranging from jobless-ness to carless-ness and ending with near homelessness, I decided it was time to make a change. Though it seemed I had little to be hopeful for, I was inspired to begin try, to try to believe in the power of dreams and in the power within me to turn those dreams into reality. I never knew that a simple shift in my perception could change my life so much. But it did.
It began as a dream. A dream of not merely seeing, but of truly experiencing life as it exists in every corner of our planet. Through a series of 'coincidences' I discovered an opportunity to teach English as a foreign language. Soon after I sold or donated virtually everything I owned, quit my job, and bought a one-way plane ticket to Eastern Europe – my adventure had just begun.
I am incredibly grateful to have lived and experienced more during that time than many people do in an entire lifetime. Not only did I travel to over 26 foreign countries on 4 continents but I also had countless unforgettable experiences like SCUBA diving, paragliding, working on an Alaskan cruise ship and learning a foreign language – just to name a few.
A modern day explorer at heart, I find myself, once more, forging new horizons. On the brink of a national TV deal, I have taken my message of hope from my brainwaves to the airwaves. My TV Talk Show, "Wake UP! Explore your Passion" has moved quickly, in just 8 months, from concept to physical reality. What started as a bedroom science project has blossomed into something greater than I could have ever planned for -- and it continues to grow and flower.
I consider myself infinitely fortunate to have experienced first hand the power and magic of dreams. It is my heart's desire that all living beings in this universe find the force within themselves to create and experience the same. To have the opportunity to help make others' wishes come true would be a truly fulfilling way for me to give back and to show my gratitude for what I've been given.
This hope and belief in the magic of life is the driving force behind everything I do. If you know what you want, and you believe you can have it it WILL be yours. This I know with 100% certainty.
