Experienced and compassionate work to empower lives and strengthen family relationships. To provide the client with a sense of empowerment ownership of responsibility for their happiness, peace, and ability to live in the world is emphasized and facilitated. A Client and Reality Centered approach is used, with the basis of self-knowledge and understanding focused within the context of the therapeutic relationship. The client will learn: “I have the right to my own feelings, needs, and boundaries. I am fallible and need only learn from my mistakes. I am responsible for my own experience and understanding that others may experience things differently. I will achieve empowerment.

Experience & Qualifications
|
|
Experience and education include a master of arts degree in counseling with a transpersonal emphasis from John F. Kennedy University, Orinda Ca. Undergraduate education also includes early childhood development. Work with families directly, providing consultion to staff with Head Start Child Development Centers for a total of 12 years, and 14 years providing full-time counseling services to children, adolescents, adults and families. I am a member of a State Licensed Private Mental Health Clinic.
