• Performs cartographic and thematic mapping, creates custom overlays after performing data conversions of wells, leases and seismic data and then adding these imports as metadata layers and creates Geodatabase from adding projection/coordinate information to spreadsheet or .db files then importing as Geodatabase layers. Heavy experience with ESRI software, some database design skills, data population and data migration with functional understanding of relational databases at both personal and enterprise levels.
• Performs specialized database (QC/QA) cleanup of geological data (aerial and spatial views of geological locations, 2d/3d seismic and cartographic views) binary files for export from Finder and OpenWorks data management solutions on UNIX to Windows, familiar with Geographix product suite, ArcGIS or Arc Info applications, also performs RDBM conversion to Geodatabases for ArcGIS Spatial Data Environment web technology.
• Military/DOD experience: Performed cartographic and terrain analysis duties; collected and processed military geographic and intelligence data from remote sensed /satellite imagery digital data, optical character messages, existing topographic products and other collateral data sources; edits cartographic and terrain analysis products.
