Experience of providing DSL service icluding deployment and technical support. This includes confuguration of DSLAMs (Digital subscriber Line Access Multiplexer),ATM switch, Broadband remote access server(B-RAS) and different types of CPEs Customer premises equipments).
Since we are providing ATM based DSL service so i have a good understanding of ATM protocols.
A very good understanding of how a network operation center(NOC) of an ISP works, which helps me in monitoring
the network.
Study of configuring routed protocols (TCP/IP) & routing protocols, like RIP & IGRP, Implementation of WAN technologies likes ISDN and Packet Switch Network, using HDLC, PPP & Frame Relay.
Experience of LINUX operating system and its administration. Configuration of various LINUX servers including DNS server, APACHE server, SQUID server, FTP and NFS server, and also configuration of iptables on a Linux machine.
