I have been writing for over 14 years now, mainly self taught and following a love of literature from an early age. I have always had an active imagination, creating worlds and people, characters and stories that captivate and enthrall an audience.
I have written short stories, novels, short screenplays and poems in genres spanning horror, crime, humour and thriller while encroaching on a number of minor genres.
I tend to read as much as I write, which i feel is always improving my vocabulary, encouraging new ideas and building an ongoing extention to my experience of grammar and structure.
In 2008 I published my first novel and am currently working on a number of projects, some short others far-spanning and epic in scale.
I have co-written a number of stories and helped others with their creative work by developing characters and storylines when they have needed some inspiration. This is the area I excell in, the creation and development of real characters, some times in unreal but identifiable situations. Good creative writing begins with good ideas and progress with a combination of good writing and precise development. I can help here.
In other areas, I have written over 200 songs, many speeches for functions, debates, weddings and corportate events mostly in a humourous vein dependant on requirements and audience.

Experience & Qualifications

Having written in a number of genres and many websites, I have developed a good understanding of the written language as well as the structuring of a story, wether it be short or novel length.
I gained A grade GCSE's in both English Language and Literature when at school, but it is through my extensive reading that I have developed much of my vocabulary and understanding of grammar. My imagination has always been my strongest asset, and in creative writing it can stretch as far as i allow it and sometimes further.
Of the songs I've written, more than a dozen have been recorded by young up and coming bands and solo artists while others have been performed in clubs and bars as part of preplanned setlists.
